The National Construction Code sets the minimum required level for the safety, health, amenity, accessibility and sustainability of residential and commercial buildings across Australia – everything from your garden shed to huge industrial buildings. It’s currently under review.
It might sound abstract, but it’s actually really personal and affects us all. It’s about the homes we live in, the buildings we work in, the environmental impact our cities have, how cool or warm our houses will be in the future and your electricity bills.
